C.I.R.G. has just published a comprehensive review of their work in 2009. The pamphlet, "The Year In View" contains over 50 colour photos of the the team in action, from their first film/drama/powerpoint presentations around Clare, the interview with Pat Kenny on "Kenny Live" through to the Forum Theatre events (the first by a learning disability group in Ireland) which promoted public discussions on the controversial topic of realtionships.
Exerpts from Jan Walmesley's independant assessment of the work of the group, commisioned by Trinity College, plus the article in the British Journal of Learning Disabilities about the relationships work with comments by the researchers themselves and their expectations of service supports also figure prominently.
There are launch day photos from Patrick Kearney's best selling book "This Was My Life: I'm Here To Tell It" at the Auburn Lodge.
Finally there's an article about Joe McGrath's "All We Want To Say About Work" All Ireland Inclusive Research presentation.
Hard Copies are available to order from C.I.R.G., Banner House, Clare Rd Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland
