The Clare Early Intervention Service (C.E.I.S.) provides a specialist intervention service to young children aged 0-5 years and their families where the child has been identified as being at risk of a developmental delay. The team consists of a variety of personnel - Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Early Intervention Educators, Physiotherapists, Preschool Resource personnel and administrative staff. This is a project that is managed by a number of agencies - HES, Enable Ireland and Brother's of Charity.

When a child is referred to C.E.I.S. they will be seen for assessment. The aim of this assessment is to determine the child's needs for intervention and in partnership with the parents an intervention plan will be developed.
