Brothers of Charity Services, Ennis

What we do?

Our aim is to provide support directly to the person to enable their needs to be met, to assist people to realise their goals and dreams.

How do we do this?

We meet with each person, their family and people they consider important, to discover what good things they want in their lives.
We then work in partnership with the family, their community and other agencies to enable people to work towards these goals.
We continue to explore with each person where they are at, and what we can do to help realise new goals and aspirations.
People are supported ‘One Person at a time’ to have valued and inclusive lifestyles and meaningful relationships in their communities. We begin with getting to know each person and their family really well, listening to their personal needs and desires. Each job, home and personal lifestyle is developed with the individual in mind. We are committed to providing a quality service.

Here are seven of the most common themes that arise with the individuals and families we support:

Home – The importance of having a real home

Education -Having the same rights of access and progression in education and training as any other person

Social Life – Having opportunities to socialise and participate in areas of interest, meet new people and make friends in the community

Health and Wellbeing – Awareness of healthcare needs and supported respectfully to access services as appropriate
